Please remember that when you camp at Silver Spur, the electricity is $7.00 per night. Please pay by check in the drop-box at the registration booth. It helps with record keeping, and will prevent any questions being raised about who paid and who did not. Example if you come in on Friday and leave on Monday, that will be 3 nights. I don't know of anywhere you can camp with water and electricity for only $7 per night! Thanks for your help in this matter.

Remember that Silver Spur Riding Club is for PAID MEMBERS ONLY. Do not be offended if an officer asks you to show your membership card. Non-members will be asked to either pay their dues immediately or leave the grounds immediately. We are not trying to be rude, but we are not a free riding club. If you are a paid member and do not receive a newsletter in the mail, please contact the Secretary or Treasurer (#s on Home Page).
Hot Water Heaters at the Club.
If you are the last person to leave the Club, please make sure that the hot water is cut off at both bath houses, as well as locking the gate when you exit. This will help eliminate burst pipes and unnecessary repairs.
Please make all checks payable to Silver Spur Riding Club (memberships, donations, electricity, rides, etc.)
Be sure to sign and date the release form on the application, whether you are a new or old member. Otherwise it will be returned for signing.
If you know of a member (or their immediate family) who is sick, in the hospital, or passes, please let us know.

Please do not tie your horses near the electrical outlets or water spigots.
Please clean up after yourself when you camp. A dumpster is in the campground at all times. Do not leave trash at your campsite.
Please remember to pick up hay strings when you leave. This causes big problems when cutting the grass.
If you take it out, bring it back in. Please remember to bring all your trash back in to camp to dispose. We have a dumpster in the campground for you to dispose of your trash. NO TRASH SHOULD BE LEFT ON THE TRAILS!!!
Campers cannot be left for weeks at a time at the club.
ALL DOGS (or other PETS - regardless of size & tempermant) MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. If your pet is spotted off it's leash, don't be surprised when our local animal control officer shows up, or you are asked to leave.
We all love our dogs and pets, but some horses are not used to being around them. Consider that your fellow member may get hurt because of your loose pet.
